We've worked with Green River Community College now for several years. The bulk of our work has been at the main campus in Auburn. We're a bit famous for stating, at a President's Council meeting, that we put the "us" back in campus.
The campus was originally designed and built in the 1960s. It was open and with outdoor California-style buildings, something we like to call inside-out, with outside corridors. It was probably a wonderful experience back when built and the landscaping was much less dense. Today, the campus is lush with greenery — and for which they are fiercely proud — but it was feeling a bit like, well, a camp.
So, working with the new focus and the approaching 50th anniversary, we've put a modern spin on the signage, made it durable, and put some order to the campus so that people can now, easily, find their way around.
